CHAMPIONING OUR YOUTH
Bridge of Grace supports and champions the youth of Mount Vernon Park through our Afterschool program, summer camps, mentorship, and MVP Junior Leadership Academy.
MVP Kids Afterschool
MVP Kids Afterschool provides students with a safe and encouraging place to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships after the school day ends. Through tutoring, mentoring, faith based lessons, and creative activities, students strengthen their academic skills, develop positive character, and discover their God given gifts and potential.
Serving students in grades 1–5, including children from Levan Scott Academy, the program also connects students with community professionals and new experiences that broaden their understanding of future opportunities and careers.
MVP Summer Camp
MVP Kids Summer Camp provides neighborhood students with a safe, positive, and faith filled environment to learn, grow, and have fun throughout the summer. Students who have completed kindergarten through fourth grade build academic, personal, and social skills while discovering more about the God who loves them. Each summer includes reading, STEAM, music, physical education, character development, field trips, and plenty of opportunities to build friendships and make lasting memories.
Developing Young Talent
The goal of our MVP Junior Leadership Academy is to develop the young leadership talent in our neighborhood. Our young leaders concentrate on character building activities with Bridge of Grace staff and community leaders.
Our junior leaders serve as mentors for our Afterschool program and participate in volunteer opportunities.
